Title: Kerbed Mk 7 WHEELS Recommended repairer in East Midlands
Post by: jrc193 on 18 April 2014, 12:13
I have unfortunately badly damaged the 18 inch standard wheel on my new Mk 7 and wonder if anyone on the site can recommend a first class repairer near Rutland . Leicester Peterborough or Corby are nearest big towns.

Midlands Car Care. Yes it's in Walsall but he will do an incredible job and at a very very competitive price. :)

Is there much that can be done for a "badly damaged" diamond cut wheel? There's only so much face these repairers can shave off the face of a diamond cut wheel. Due to their propensity to develop whiteworm and general difficulties in repairing to a good standard, I really don't know why VW don't stick with the painted wheels that look marginally less good, but age far better.
