Title: Advice about a map

Can anyone advise me on the map on my golf as it's like a rocket I'm leaving golfs running at 200+ bhp civic type r  bmws  I took it to a garage and he said it's to quick as he had a aniversy  golf mapped at 180 and it leaves his with out trying the guy thinks the maps to powerfull for the car as it's all standard any suggestions ?

his anniversary came with 180bhp so i would not listen to that guy if he thinks he got it mapped to that  :laugh:

Ok haha there's a guy by me who's got the same as mine mapped at 225 bhp but mine kills it do I need new injectors or anything ?

have you seen proof or is he just willy waving throwing numbers about  :smiley: and what golf are we talking about what year and model is it

I haven't seen the papers but under the bonnet it looks legit  mk4 golf gttdi 130  2003

My mates got a 150 bhp mapped and mine kills it

As far as I know the only thing I've done to the car is decat it 2 garages have said the maps far to powerful for the car

you will find out if it blows up i suppose or take it to someone that knows what they are doing if you want to find out  :smiley:

Find someone who has a liquid cube and set it on the BHP reading to find out what it says by doing red line in 3rd and 4th gear on a private road  :wink:
