Title: flywheel lightening in birmingham

As above. Does anyone know of any place in bham that can lighten a flywheel for me?

sorry bush. I forgot to say that i emailed him the other day and he got back to me today he said that if its a POT flywheel then he can not do it as he does not have a cnc machine.
im taking it as the vr flywheel is a pot flywheel?

Put up a pic of the flywheel. If it's a flat one (as per VR6, 16v etc) then I can lighten it for you  :nerd:

Its a vr6 flywheel. Not trying to be fun y so please dont take it the wrong way buddy but do you have any experience in loghtening flywheel? I know you did yours last year?

Tbh flywheel lightening and balancing is a first year apprentice job, not difficult at all.
just need to know how much you want off it and have a few bits of pro kit.
Nipple how long you been metal bashing :rolleyes:

I've lightened & balanced 4 flywheels to various weights now. It really is a piece of piss. I work at an established engineering company with all of the kit I need to do the job to a professional standard, and I know how to use it too  :laugh:
I've been metal bashing for 4 years  :smiley:
