Title: Quite fuel pump (and related bits) question
Post by: HARVS1789UK on 10 April 2014, 13:40
Hi All,

I have a 91' 3DR MKII Golf GTI 16v

It has a leaky fuel pump, and my mechanic suggests that, if at all possible, I get my hands on the fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator and hard lines that connect the 3 together as a set.

Talking to CJA321 on here who has this post about breaking a MKII 16v (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=266175.0) as he still has these parts available.

Before I get to excited, are there any year/engine type based differences I should be considering, or will any other MKII GTI fuel pump, pressure reg and filter be fine for me?

Cheers,

HARVS1789UK

Mk2 16v or even 8v kjet fuel assembly will work. Mk2 8v digi wont work though
