Title: Another exhaust thread..!

Hey guys!

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to aftermarket exhaust systems. I've been having a think recently about how to boost the sound of my engine in my GTI PP.

Been looking at exhausts and the Bull X ones sound pretty nice (if not perhaps a little boy-racery!)  :laugh:

I was wondering though about the valve opening/closing. In this video they seem to be able to open and close it with the flick of a switch? Is that how these usually work? ie Could I switch off the noise from within the car if I wanted to?

Would say from that vid that it's boost actuated not electronic, so the on and Off switch is your right foot, like bcs's

The BullX system is electrically actuated not boost actuated like our Powervalve system...

sorry nige, just seemed quiet and slow when off 'sound' so assumed a not so good boost actuated
