Title: Screen wash
Post by: Scottymk4 on 06 April 2014, 10:26
I have a very weak flow of water from screenwashers, tried replacing the pump which seems to have made it worse.. I did notice on the old one someone had warped tape around the part that
Goes into the washer bottle. My question is car you replace the tuber grommit thing on the bottle? Or do I need a new bottle.

bottles are easy enough to replace if they are the smaller one, it's the bigger one that's a nightmare to fit. Not sure if the rubber grommet is a replacement part, will have a look on ETKA for you in a mo

Thanks wazzer, think it's the big one, how strong is the flow on mk4 golfs cause mine only goes about 2 inches up the screen.. Is the pump a part the is prone to failing

know a few places but they are expensive we just got another tailgate for a mates car so your best bet is to buy panels the same colour as your own

I was quoted £200 a couple of moths ago to fix and paint the ones that are on the car, not sure if this would be better than getting other parts that will prob rust anyway. Lol
