Title: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!

Hey everyone. I just bought a mk4 golf a week or so ago, and I'm going insane as to why the dome lights only work for a minute or two, then just stop responding (auto or manually), then i give up, and come back hours later, and they work fine again, for a minute or two, and repeat...AHHHHHHH! i don't get it! any ideas at all?!

I take it you mean Xenons.....

Its normally the silver box on the back of them which is called the ballast  :wink:

Might be worthwile getting it scanned.

I scanned my mates golf last week (can rememebr the code) but the descriptions went along the lines off "interior light timer - tollerance exceeded" or something.
