Hey guys i just noticed a few palm sized spots on the floor about 50cm apart that have clearly come from my car as i parked up in work. It seems that it is defo on the drivers side of the car and it is blue is colour. (after reacting with the water)
I quickly checked the oil which seemed fine and the coolent was above minimum so thats fine. Couldn't see anything wet under the bonnet god im gunna worry all day now. :(

Do you have the underneath splash tray thing on?
Its hard to pinpoint leaks if you do have it on because chances are wherever it is coming from is hitting something on the way down and running off something.
You need to get underneath and follow the trail backwards to the source
Also remember that if it is oil a palm size amount after reacting with water could literally be a drop of actual oil.

Good point there is no guard thou im gunna check levels of coolent, oil and brake fluid before i leave work and take it easy going home then ill jack her up and take a look i hope it isnt so
something expensive

Jack it up and get under it with a torch, spray brake and clutch cleaner on any staines areas and then check 24hrs later

Ohhh no dont touch that stuff. However i removed the cardboard this morning and nothing was onit i think it was water that flipped up while driving and driping off something that might have had oil on there so all good :)

I found the leak!!!
Its fuel coming from the join on the fuel filter story goes when my car went in for the steering rack replacement i had the fuel filter changed too. But the garage told me the piping connected to the fuel filter was corroded and snapped so the garage used piping and Jablie clips to repair. Up until now its been fine but it has been dripping I think for a couple months from one of the clips. I for now have tighted the clip slightly which has stopped the dripping and the fuel smell is gone. But i have been advised not to do much mileage and replace the fuel pipe that goes from the filter to the engine bay. Any idea guys?

that pipe runs inside the chassis rail and is fairly long...
Not sure if the dealers make a repair kit for it?
-
Why can i see this costing alot :(

I wouldn't go mad, a good tidy repair would be more than good enough mate
