Title: brake light problem

i have a problem with the rear brake light coming on all the time it seems to be the brake pedle. I think i need to adjust the pedal somehow so it touched the switch???????????? >:(

May just be a faulty switch, check the wiring looms to the brake lights too.

Are you sure there's a switch on the pedal ?

My GTI has two pressure switches on the M/C, if either switch goes short circuit due to pressure in the brake fluid then it turns the brake lights on.
