howdy, i have made my mk2 fast and the diff is now a definite spot for improvement.
Anyone any experience of the various lsd's available?
looking at quaife and peloquin at the minute.
Its an 02a box in a mk2 1.8t if that matters
-
its meant to be one of the best mods you can do to any car to get as much power as possible to the road. think the quaife atb is highly rated.
-
Nige on Northloop says it was the best mod he made to his Golf. His is a Quaife I think
Unfortunately the Quaife diff in Dave's 1.8T hasn't turned a rotation yet, or I'd give you some more insight!

Sure is a great mod! Seriously get every pennies worth out of them.
Even on a standard car it would transform how they drive.
We use Quaife as the quality, supply and service are great.
Give me a shout or check them on our site but p we've got some great prices, bearings and ARP bolts optional too and usually on the shelf ready to go

I've bought the wavetrac lsd 2weeks ago but not yet fitted yet.

I highly rate my quaife LSD, it has changed the way I drive it, where before I would understeer with anything but the smallest throttle input in a corner it now pulls you around the bend, you effectively steer with the throttle now and it's complimented by the rest of the car's setup at the minute, it's very neutral but when it does break traction it does so progressively and it's very controllable on the edge of traction.

I've heard great things about Quaiffe, would defos suggest it

I have a Quaife LSD in my Derv.
The cars running 355lb/ft of torques and it handles it well.
Point the nose where you want it, dab of throttle and it just turns in. By far the best mod i've done to a car.
