got a mk4 turbo AGU its just had a massive engine rebuild but when it comes to boost it wont fully do it. kinda reaches a point then pops n wont go????? help plz

Get it scanned for codes. Could be a dodgy n75 valve (if i got it right) controls the waste gate?

That would be the MAP sensor yes.
