Any idea where this roots? Mines split needs a new one

Couple of options
First Pick I believe 1 is a coupler.

Two how VW would repair the corrugated pipe. Rumour has it there is a smooth pipe too.

Ignore the pic that shows its a mk5, the information was for a mk6.

Thanks mate thats awesome! I don't suppose you have any info on rear washer/pipe removal? Theres NO access :-(

Only problem is rear roof spoiler has to be cut off with thread cutting wire to access the rear of the pipe that connects to the washer jet. I think fixing it like VW have suggested seems to be the best idea and least hassle.

HOLY sh!t! I can't believe the spoiler has to be cut off crazy.

I don't know if you pop out the rear spoiler light that there will be a hole to get at it without doing that. I expect that they invented the repair as the job of getting the spoiler off is bad.

Ok here's a few pics bit short on time this weekend and away for two weeks but will knock up a how to its a little fiddley and if you don't know where the screws are you will break something i nearly did :-/

I managed to use the original vw fittings as the clear pipe i bought was a tight fit on the standard clips winner!!!

This is the amount i had to remove note the airbag :-/

This was the most awkward bit like key hole surgery lol its the same clip as the lower one
