Probably wear and tear. Maybe a weak clutch before the map?

Look at the G60 fly and VR clutch swap. I run it on my MK3 AUQ conversion and the bite is perfect with no slip at all.

I do a solid flywheel and clutch conversion kit for £310 for 240mm clutches. (brand is national clutch and these have a 2 year no quibble warranty)

Single mass set up won't work on an AUQ because of the 6 speed box.

Dom can I ask why. The kit i listed is for a auq 6 speed and classed as direct replacement

I may be wrong then, the G60/VR6 setup definitely doesn't fit, a quick google search shows other kits

My kit at £310 isn't too expensive.  It doesn't come with a new slave cylinder which is £50. But is still lots cheaper than a new dmf and clutch and is a specific auq kit

This is the kind of price that the kits usually are:

That's a helix kit which are a proper paddle type and I find a bit on or off in use.  That will no doubt handle very high power outputs and overkill for most cars
