Title: How low
Post by: GtiTurbo 79 on 25 March 2014, 09:42
I'm currently running on Standard suspension on my 1.8t with 18" alloys I'm going to be buying  some lowering springs (just springs) today I'm just wondering how much drop I can go without any rubbing and still have nice comfy ride

I wouldn't run lowering springs with standard shocks, I did briefly but took them off because the ride was shocking.

Yes but fitting just lowering springs will end costing you more in the long run as they shocks will fail and you will have to do the same job twice.

My mate put his golf coils on his tdi bora so go for it there is no difference in fitment and only took 2hours to do it's far easier and if you get the top mounts too no scary spring compressors needed
