Post by: Blazeman1995 on 24 March 2014, 07:37
my Mk golf has trouble idling sometimes its able to keep running after fighting a bit but a lot of the time it just cuts out. any ideas as to why it would be doing this?

Give it a really good clean as it's something I recommend at every major service.  And hopefully solve your problem (if not it will restore idle and a little power if unclean)

Vag com is a diagnostic programme that connects to your car. I will say I have so far never needed vag com after cleaning a throttle body on a mk3.  I would advise changing the gasket if you remove it for a proper clean (I stock/sell them for £2)
