Title: brake discs 2L 8v

Hi guys,
I have a 95 2litre GTI 8v, and i just got given a new set of discs for a 16v  they are 288mm , i was wonderin if these would fit? as im sure they are only 8mm bigger??
Or would calipers need changing/ spacer need to be made?

Any experiences with this?

Some of the later spec models had 288 discs as standard, if yours hasn't then its new calipers.

Yeah, im pretty sure 97 onwards had 288.
Thanks anyway mate, looks like find a set of cheap calipers, or I have a set of EBC 288mm for sale!!
