Title: ipod connection not working

Hi, I've got the ipod connection built into the arm rest, of which its been working fine until today..

The stereo (MP3 written on it), just does not recognise the connection or power it up...

I have checked the connection underneath the arm rest - looks ok..

Any ideas?

This happened with my iPod connection.  Was fine for over a year then just wouldn't recognise the device. (mk6).  Cables all ok.  Did a hard reset on the iPod and all was good again.

did hard reset on ipod - still not working.....any other idea's? apart from strip it all out to check cables etc? which i'm guessing shouldn't just come loose or come out....
