Be a bit wary - with those kind of drops you will have problems with speed humps etc.

Also with very low profile tyres you will get a harsh ride!

I'm on 17's and when I get round to it will only do a 25mm drop, just to get rid of that gap!

i've got 17's on mine with a 35mm drop. looks much better and handling is fine. you may find some spped humps a pain in the booty. make sure you get a decent lowering kit though.

My mk3 is lowered 60mm on standard wheels and I struggle with speed bumps etc, I have got a boge kit on mine, springs and shocks, the handling has improved a lot since I fitted the kit, but the ride quality is a bit harsher!

I don't find speed bumps a problem, but they've got those stupid metal flappy things in the road at work and it keeps banging on the brace over the exhaust!

i'm thinking about lowering mine aswell. Was thinking 40mm on 15's untill i get some 16's/17's. I was thinking about just changing the springs and leaving the standard shocks on. Any ideas on which are the best lowering springs to use and prices please. Thanks
