Title: Radio Codes off Ebay

Hi
Just wondering if these are pukka? I ordered one yesterday and got a code a few hours later. I plan on selling my rcd 510 dab. But I don't have the code. So I bought one of these as couldn't be bothered going to dealer with v5 etc. won't know if it works until a potential buyer tries it  :undecided:

The guy has 100% feedback. Where does he get the code from? All he needed was the radio serial number.

On some older models the code was the last 4 digits of the serial number.  Might be worth checking the unit works before selling it.

You can get a serial program and it uses some of the serial number to find the code we use one at my work for blaupunkt CD players.

This is the method
Stereo code sequence

Ignore the BP & first digit
Input 3 digits
Ignore 1 digit
Input the rest of the digits

Then you get stereo code pretty full proof really have no reason to doubt with 100% feedback.

Thanks for the replies. I guess with 100% feedback some must have used these codes with success.
I'll sell it with the code he supplied and hope it works for the buyer  :smiley:

just print a receipt from eBay off with the sellers name so when you sell it if they have problems with code they can contact direct.
