Title: Golf mk2 16v fuel pump options
Post by: rich1977 on 18 March 2014, 16:43
My mk2 has a leak in the swirl pot the houses the 2nd pump and although it's not a major leak any fuel leak isn't good so needs fixing ASAP.

Now as we know the box is now obsolete and i can't find a 2 nd hand one anywhere on eBay or local breakers so what other options do I have other than scrap the k jet system entirely

but the fuel might be leaking from a hose going in to the housing. there is 2 return hoses going to the top of the reservoir. but if you do need a replacement reservoir for it don't test it for leaks with compressed air like i did. burst the seem in 2 places.
