Title: Footwell Led's

Picked my car up yesterday changed the few remaining halogen interior lights and had planned to change the white LEDs in the footwell to red ones to match the door trims.. I did this on my Scirocco but the actual bulb holder and led look like a sealed unit on the Golf  :angry:
Has anyone changed them and if so how do you do it ??

It can be done, i'm sure i have seen someone on here change to red footwell lights. Looked pretty smart too.

You need to change the bulb holders for the standard non LED units. Got mine off ebay - a pair (brand new) for £10.00 some time ago.

Also just noticed you have Dynaudio badges on the lower speakers. Where did you get them from please ??

Really like those and I think they would look even better with the red stripes on a GTI. Any clue if the bulb holder could be modified in a way to fit the LED instead of changing the whole unit?

I have looked on eBay but can only find White LED replacement bulb holders. I might nip into a dealers today for a laugh to see how much a couple of new footwell lights holders are  :whistle:
Unless someone out there knows of a reputable route to get a pair   :wink:
