Gave it a good wash followed by a quick detail inside and outside.
-
Went for a 20 mile blast around and washed it when I got back
-
Unwrapped my new backbox and spent a good 15 mins staring at the car contemplating whether to fit it today. So in essence I accomplished f**k all.
-
Looked at some pictures of it after it had rolled out of the paint booth.
-
Spent a little time looking how much it will cost me to ship it overseas....
-
Decided to fit lowering springs that I've had for 12 month to see if I liked them or not
In a moment of complete madness I wedged the rear axle with a crow bar caught hard brake line and pissed fluid all over the drive
No brakes, no patience , no interest !
On a plus side Car looks good on its springs
-
drop it to a vw specialist because its being a sh!t

Just been out to investigate a strange noise she's devolved since being used as my daily.
To find alternator might need replacing, slight leak from rear fuel pump housing, my manifold is blowing slightly and my tappets need doing.
All will have to be done soon as will do my head in if I don't
-
Looked at it. Went :undecided:. Walked back indoors.
I done virtualy exactly this. The joys of blown mk2 ownership :(

Took it to the garage for an emissions test, then called the AA to rescue me when they closed for the day leaving me with a non running car
