Title: Mirror polishing wheels
Post by: rich1977 on 12 March 2014, 23:05
Right then I've bought a set of straight esotorils that I've stripped back to bare metal and now starting to get them polished, I've started off with 600-1200 wet and dry and then started with the polishing kit on my drill and this is where I'm getting a problem I'm getting a nice shine but there's still light scratches bouncing the light back anyone got any tips to get a better finish

Seen lots of people using these polishing kits, i take it's the ones with the soaps and abrasive wheels. Once gave a boy my exhaust of my NC30 little Honda 400cc. This had a deep scratch and a really bad rust band. This came back perfect. Think just go finer till you get it spot on.
