I'm planning on buying a non runner golf, fixing it and using it as a daily.. what would be my cheapest options to get the car home?

In b4 Bellend & DH.
Use the search function for Trailers / towing cars.

If I got someone from shiply to pick it up, that would mean I wouldn't get to look at the car before I buy it?

Least hassle way unless you have a trailer and a license etc.
