Title: Main Beam lights locked on

In preparation for my mk4's MOT retest on Wednesday I had to change one of the side lights (driver side).
If anyone has done this job before then I imagine you share my pain in just how annoying of a job it is to do, the space to move is terrible.

Regardless, the bulbs been changed and works fine BUT I am now faced with a new problem  :angry:
Now the main beams appear to be locked on whenever I activate any of my lights. I've tried messing about with all the switches but the sun decided to pack its bags so for today I'm stumped.

Anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong here?

you tryed pressing the light swith in ?
