Title: AmD Stage 1 Remap mk5 GTI Dyno Report
Post by: FletchachoGTI on 10 March 2014, 19:03
So i had my car mapped at AMD auto tuning in Thurrock a couple weeks back now.

what a awesome power gain, my car was actually running down on power due to a issue with the dump valve boost leak.

so here are my figures.

Before - 171.3 Hp
            180.5lb/ft @3782Rpm

After - 255.0 Hp
          284.3lb/ft @3499Rpm

very impressed as you can imagine, especially as the car was running slower before the map.

here is the dyno report

thanks to all the guys at AMD.

I had mine done there a couple of weeks ago, had the same issue with the valve. It's like having a new car :)

Yeah I know that feeling, i have just been looking at new tail lights lmao. I ended up with 259 bhp and 282.8 torque so near enough the same as yours. Did you have an exhaust fitted as well?

i like my standard monza alloys. might go a few inches lower though. i do like the standard GTI look could sit a little lower will make it have a better stance.

I know what you mean, I've got 18" Monza's which I am going to have sprayed/coated in 2 tone. Red on the main part and then black on the horseshoe bit, similar to Monza shadows but a lot brighter lol

good idea. all i would want done to mine is a high shine finish like the newer versions. but until i curb the ones i have - touch wood i have not got a mark yet - i won't be touching them.

you'll have to upload some photos when you get them done.

Miss, remember I will probably get a spot on job done on those alloys for you. An if you are highly impressed. I may make a post on here for my mate at some point, once you decide the prices lol. But I think will definitely save you some pennies!!! £££
