I have purchased 2 rear calipers & carriers from a golf mk2 don't no what reg there off ,I have just noticed the springs are missing :( now are they just for the handbrake ? also where can I buy them from ? ... many thanks  :smiley:

It's the handbrake return spring. Pick them up from breakers yard. Early MK3 calipers are the same as MK2, late ones (>1994) are different.
