Title: annoying noise from drivers side
Post by: Scottymk4 on 09 March 2014, 13:13
Got weird noise from divers side wheel, sounds like squeaking/grinding noise that seems worse the slower the car is moving but sometimes goes away... was thinking wheel bearing but cant understand why it goes away.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be?

yeah, already had it in 2 garages when noise wasn't as bad and one said it was suspension parts needing done the other which is the one i normally use said couldn't find anything and that track rod end was slightly dodgy but would only be an advisory on an mot but seems to have go worse...MOT due end of month so hopefully will get whatever it is fixed by then

I had similar issue with a loose wishbone. Tightened it all up and sorted the noise

put car into garage today and he thinks 90% its the wheel bearing but he doesnt have a press to get bearing out.. any ideas of price to get a bearing replaced?
