Cant remember where it came from, rear of engine I think!

it looks like part of the heat shield thingy for the warm air intake duct that goes to air box. but if you have fitted a 4 branch then its not needed.

Ha I found one of these in the garage a few days and was also baffled where it had come from.

I thought it went somewhere near the exhaust manifiold.
Its a weighty bit of metal.

I took away the warm air duct years ago so as I thought I can forget it!

Likewise.  Its certainly from the rear of the engine, that I do know...was it holding the braided heat shield on?
