Title: pas and air con

Thinkin of getting air con and power steering on my mk3 coz i dont really want to change it (sorry gibby, saw the light, didnt like it. :wink:) Its not that i dont want a gti,i do, and id love an oldskool lookin mk2 but its just not the right time for me.  :cry: anyway

1st, has anyone done this, ie: fitting power steering and air con?

2nd, if yes how much work and

3rd, how much should it cost?

think its just the PAS steering rack, few pipes, the pump and the pulley.

Aircon is another story. I want that for my mk2. been told its a mission to fit. Do you really need aircon in the UK? Its only sunny once a month!

I reckon you'd be better off getting a new mk3 with the toys in. Serious pain trying to fit them on your own. Even worse when you come to sell it and it's got non standard looking controls....

And Aircon is a complete JOY to behold! Never had it before and I honestly will not go back!!! ;)
