Title: Music playback from internal hard drive.
Post by: orcades on 07 March 2014, 07:33
Hello All,

I've specified the Discover Pro Nav option, which also has an internal Hard Drive for music. My problem is that every time I try and play music from the Hard Drive the system just finds the first song - the other tunes aren't available.

I imported the the music to the Hard Drive from an SD Card, and the same amount of tunes play fine from the SD Card - no problems at all.

I'm trying to transfer roughly 1000 tunes, I've tried having all the tunes in one folder - then I tried organising the tunes in to album folders, still the same problems though.

I did once see a guide on how to format music for the internal (Jukebox) hard drive - but alas I can't find it again.

Regards,

Sounds like the file structure is wrong so it only picks up the first song. Did the gracenote database show up the album artwork from the hard drive??

Hi,

Album art doesn't show when selecting the Jukebox drive as source. Annoyingly it all works fine on SD Card, same folder/file format.

So yeah I'd agree the file/folder format is wrong, anybody know what the file/folder format should be like on the Jukebox?

Cheers

Anybody have any idea what the file/folder format for the Discover Pro Jukebox should be like?

Thanks,
