Title: Oil light keeps coming on

I've had the car 2 days it's a mk4 gti turbo I checked the oil and it was just under minimum so I topped it up until it reached the maximum line everything was fine and now it keeps beeping then the oil light comes on and it says STOP CHECK OIL so I let the car cool down over night checked it in the morning and it was still on max and it happens again today would this be a dodgy sensor ?

More likely to be a blocked oil pickup pipe, I wouldn't drive it until it's checked out

Where are they located and are they easy to unblock?

You will need to drop the sump, better to replace than trying to clean it out tbh.

Ok some one told me it might be the oil pump the car has done 160k hope it ain't the pimp means a engine rebuild :(
