Title: Top door window surround trim

Hello does anybody know how to replace the top window surround trim on my gti I have taken the car to the dealer and they said the mark on the trim is not covered under warranty .Thanks.

What, do you have a picture, I find it strange they said its not covered by warranty?  :angry:

If we are talking a cosmetic scuff, then no, it won't be covered unless you could prove your car came like that. It's like asking VW to repair my stone chips for free.

If it's functionality has been compromised (leaking road noise or rain in) and it deteriorated on it's own or was always like that then it should be a warranty claim.
