The silicon pipe runs off that onto the fuel pressure regulator ive cut the black thing of and managed get abit of pipe over the blue pipe which is inside that box for now ?
-
Leaked fuel everywhere driveing along then managed fit a jubilee clip on now till i source a spare part (http://i1039.photobucket.com/albums/a477/dazvdub1/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-01/87B6ECAD-10F2-45FB-AEBE-2082881E2D88_zpsp6fied3b.jpg) (http://s1039.photobucket.com/user/dazvdub1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-01/87B6ECAD-10F2-45FB-AEBE-2082881E2D88_zpsp6fied3b.jpg.html)

animal lol
-
Haha is it ok without that plastic part a cut the whole thing off not leaking now ?
-
I'd replace it, those lines are quite high pressure
-
Get up scrappy mate, loads of stuff have same connectors, come off pretty easy mate. Best replaced!
-
Get a s/h part asap, that is high pressure fuel and is a big risk.
-
Will go this weekend to scrapyard, the pipe ive managed to get on hasnt leaked so should hold out till then ? Ill have to get the whole thing i guess as i had to cut the black plastic part off to get the pipe connected ?
-
Scratch that cars parked up till i can get part at weekend any1 know what that box is called which pipes connect to ?
-
That line goes inside your chassis rail and all the way back to the fuel tank
-
Replace the whole line mate if you've cut it.
The ends I think you can still get from VW if that's easier and pipe will still reach.
-
Yeah I've cut the black plastic part off as it was no good, Is it easier to replace the whole line iam going vw breakers on Saturday
-
Looking on google the part I chopped off is called a bayanet socket I would prefer replace the whole pipe but can't find no info on doing it :undecided:
-
I think there's enough pipe to fit a new bayanet fitting on but looking on eBay I wonder if using a 90degree 8mm pipe connector would do the same job ?? http://bit.ly/1fFc2D6

Sorry mate, scanned your post and thought you meant it was actually one of the fuel line connectors.
Is that to the charcoal canister? I haven't got one of these any more and can't remember what it looks like, if it is, isn't it reasonably low pressure and could be resolved with the item in the link you posted?
-
Dave the ribbed hose is the charcoal canister hose. The fuel return will be lower pressure than the feed but still enough to cause a fire if it sprays across the engine bay lol
-
The blue fuel line which i cut the top of is smaller insize than the pipe that runs of the fuel rail so ive ordered a 8mm to 4mm elbow reducer, checked on it daily so far as it is now and no leaks so hopefully once ive fitted the elbow reducer and its all done properly i can put my mind at rest lol

This is how it is at the min(http://i1039.photobucket.com/albums/a477/dazvdub1/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-01/44AF7921-AD8E-47A3-B9B2-8C9298A662A7_zpsuxehenbx.jpg) (http://s1039.photobucket.com/user/dazvdub1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-01/44AF7921-AD8E-47A3-B9B2-8C9298A662A7_zpsuxehenbx.jpg.html)
