have this funny bolt in one of my bolt/nut storage containers.
No idea where it came from!

It must have come off the car as I only put bolts in the containers as they came off!

Metal cambelt cover plastic cam belt cover and water pump does it ring any bells if not.
Flat part of bolt sits behind water pump then thread and nut tightens plastic cambelt cover. Metal cover sits behind intermediate shaft sprocket.
Hope this helps

Oh no! Dont tell me I have to take all that off again!
(alternator, steering pump, air-con pump)

Air con pump is such an awkward bastard as well.

I found that easy, well to get back on, was a right pain to get off!
The worst one I had was the steering pump. I took the fixing bracket off twice and filed it down so it slipped on easy!
Seriously thinking about leaving this little bolt out!
-
Ahhh it's not captive. That explains why the last bolt to put my cambelt cover back on disappeared!!

I do have the small metal plate fixed in position (thin triangle shape)
The plastic cam cover is secured by at least 3 bolts, the final one goes into the alternator bracket?? or the top of the water pump, I cant remember!
