Title: jerky in 1st & 2nd gear ?

My 2001 18t gti has a bit of a cough ! =-O
Cba waiting for a appointment at the docs so thought ide ask you guys an gals,
When I start off slowly mind you..it starts to jerk a little,I've given her some redex thinking maybe it will clear her throte,but she still at it ? Do you have any ideas what it could be ? Thanks

Could be engine mounts mine was really jerky until I replaced the bushes in the dogbone mount under the gearbox

I think but not 100% certain that Its a boost control valve it does what the name suggests and controls the boost your car gives its on your TIP.

 just been out and on the drive is 2 drops of oil,sh!t.:O..gunna have to get out in the morning & see where that's come from now..I'm not the most mechanicaly minded =-O... in for a penny in for a pound aye ha ha

Oil leak is a loose sump plug thank god
Does a Gti need synthetic  oil or will normal Gtx do ? might aswell change it & fix the leak, as Mr sun is out...
