Good evening lads,
fitted my 18s this week previous and noticed a slightly worst case of the petrol munchies, should i be concerned or do 18s require more power to push through the wheels due to larger circumference etc?
any thoughts would be welcome!

Ill be honest james i have also noticed my mpg drop abit since my 18's were fitted but also remember this weather causes mpg to drop.

Bigger wheels = more weight
More weight = more fuel used
Simples
Only way around it is to fit wheels which are as light or lighter than your previous wheels

18's FTW!

cheers fellas!

Do you have a figure from what you have noticed? Would be interesting just to know...

just that my petrol gauge goes down faster lol and takes a bit longer to get up to 32mpg but i also have a busted exhaust manifold gasket and need to have a service with wheels allignment and puncture check
