Title: 18s vs. MPG
Post by: GTi_James on 24 February 2014, 00:22
Good evening lads,

fitted my 18s this week previous and noticed a slightly worst case of the petrol munchies, should i be concerned or do 18s require more power to push through the wheels due to larger circumference etc?

any thoughts would be welcome!

Bigger wheels = more weight

More weight = more fuel used

Simples

Only way around it is to fit wheels which are as light or lighter than your previous wheels
