Hi iam looking to drop my gti, I'm just after some opinions on what height I should go for with 18". Wheels??
-
really depends on what roads you drive on and do you care about your smacking the ground
40-60mm looks good and anything lower can be annoying
for example my car is lowered 100mm on back and 90mm on front and is very restrictive because I scrape everything
-
Wow 90-100 is low. You got a picture? I was thinking 60mm like
-
ill get ya a picture soon. 60mm is a good height. you might get a slight tapping noise from the exhaust touching the rear axle.

Agreed, previous owner to my golf lowered her about 30mm, I don't really have any problems, I'm on 18's and she doesn't look low enough
