Title: Golf GTi Mk2 8v or 16v?
Post by: chris_chambers66 on 30 August 2005, 21:09
Hi there, ive recently bought a mk2 golf gti and i was told it is a 16v. But to be honest theres no badges or anything on the v5 to prove it. It is a big bumper model but they could have been put on.

The car is totally original and its on a F plate if that helps.
Has anyone got a picture of a standard 8v or 16v engine so i can see which one it is, seen as thats the best way to find out?!? :undecided:

Any help from you guys would be very helpful

Cheers
