Hi all,
I know it has probably been covered previously, but I wanted to pick the brains of those in the know. I have bought my mk7 gtd and want to make sure I take some pride in washing and maintaining. I bought a load of product which is serving me well for washing drying etc the exterior. I wanted some
Good products for the interior, namely for the leather, the plastic trims and interior glass. I know ppl recommend the glipstone or dr leather but would really appreciate a good break down and which are easier to use.
I'm new to this kind of thing so I appreciate the assistance.

Gliptone - get both bottles which are creams. You simply apply the cleaner, wipe, then do the same for the conditioner.
For plastics try Auto Finesse Revive, Poorboys Natural Look or Angel Wax Gel.
Glass - Dodo Juice Clearly Menthol or Angle Wax Glass.

Thanks mate, are they all relatively easy to apply? Also, would u apply the gliptone using a brush or cloth?

I personally use a steam cleaner to remove in tough dirt on the seats and it opens the pores then i use i leather cleaner (trying Auto Finesse atm) with a brush to get anything i have missed and help get in the tight spots and then conditioner

Also a fan of Auto Finesse leather cleaner/conditioner for seats. Baby wipes are really good for removing stains from leather and they condition at the same time.
Currently using Poorboys Natural Look for all other interior trim and it's by far the best I've used. Best applied using a soft cloth and buffed off with a fluffy microfiber. Don't bother decanting it into a spray bottle as it's really too thick for that. Not as easy on/off as some of the other cleaners but it's worth the extra effort.
