Title: Very bright side lights
Post by: Mk2_tel on 16 February 2014, 19:56: What bulbs do people use I have a hid lighting kit.
But I notice on some cars the side lights are super bright.
I've ordered some glass replacement for by dirty plastic ones on my bora so might aswell upgrade bulbs

That's because a mk3 lights are so sh!t they are almost orange lol they look fine on a mk4 with uprated main bulbs

Post by: rio_gti on 18 February 2014, 17:31: I got led sides that I got separately (looks like an ice-cream cone if you know what I mean) but against my HID's they still look very yellow..... my headlights are tinted but the HIDs look white its a shame about the sides even thou they are led... so will the ones in the like be whiter then while led's?!!!!

Post by: davemk4 on 20 February 2014, 07:18: Osram 501 leds are a beast for side lights. £16.99 for 2 but they a perfect fit and clearly good quality. White as anything and been in 2 years with no issues and btw they are bright!
