Title: what do u al think of this?

lookin for a mk2 8v gti and seen this in the paper:

VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 1.8 GTi 1990, 115000 Miles, scorpion dtm exhaust, 17" alloys, dino steering wheel, lowered suspension, Clifford alarm, Meta immobiliser, recent cambelt, good condition,  £1,000

just spoke to the guy, he is an engineer and has done everything himself, owned it for 6 years, has an mot til december and tax til end november.

sounds pretty alright to me u think?

sure looks ok to me, but I'd try it and make sure everything was ok before going any further down the price path... You might find a bargaining point....
