Title: agg fuel injectors
Post by: gazareth on 09 February 2014, 20:41
evening all . would any of you guys happen to know the flow rate of the green agg fuel injectors? and if there is an injector with 10% more flow that would be a direct swap for the green ones? also would anyone know where I could get oversize pistons (83mm) for an audi/vw 3a 2litre engine? cheers.

May I ask why you need new injectors? The stock agg injector will support more power than it was originally intended for. You tend to find that oe injector duty cycles are reasonably low, plenty of headroom for more flow, you will need a remap to change injector dc. Although I don't know anyone who touches the mk3 8v ecu's as there's no real market for it.

Can't help with regards to supplying oversize 3A pistons but I can tell you the o.e part number for 3A 83mm oversize pistons is 053107081E.
This may help your search for them.

well I was considering fitting the complete agg engine in to my mk2 and run it of the standard pb ecu with a cut/shut inlet manifold for the twin t/b. was just wondering if the agg and pb injectors had the same flow rate as that would keep things simple. oh and while we are on the subject of fuel injectors. would you by any chance know the bosch part number for the white top injectors they used in mk2 gti pb engine? cheers.

for anyone who gives a hoot . done a flow comparison with an agg and a vr6 injector (yellow kind) today and the agg injector would appear to flow a good bit less than the vr6 one. :nerd: no idea on exact difference as I was just spraying both injectors simultaneously in to 2 identical small coke bottles.
