Hi guys,
Today I changed my static cornering lights for the Philips Blue vision ultra. I did however have an issue getting the bulbs in and out of the headlight unit. The manual states to push down on the bulb holder and then pull...doesn't make any sense to me. I pushed it and nothing happened...so I pulled it and nothing happened! I pulled it harder and it popped out but it didn't sound healthy! I'm sure I'm not doing it right. In previous cars I have had to rotate the bulb to release the tag on the bulb to allow it to be removed.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks,

When i changed mine it really was that simple, push down on the back of the fitting and the top of the bulb casing will pop out, not sure why you had trouble cos it sounded like you tried it the right way??
Literally the easiest bulb i've ever changed.

Not to worry I've sorted it. When it says push down on the bulb holder it doesn't mean push it in as you would imagine, it means push down towards the ground (I.e across the bulb holder). It still makes a rather disconcerting cracking sound but comes out much easier!

It does make a bit of a nasty crack! but yeah, push it straight down, doesn't need much pressure either, glad you've sorted it though. :afro:

Cheers Jimble! At least it's not just mine that sounds like it breaking when you do it! Like you say though, once you push it in the right place it doesn't need much pressure.
