Not to sh!t on your chips, but I would be very cautious with a kit like that in our current climate.
I would not fit it until the sun comes out.
-
Thanks for your advice. Why do you say that, Will it take in a lot of moister like?
Al only be using the car on weekends it's not my everyday run about
-
With the rain like this your engine is going to be drinking a lot of water if you go through puddles that you cant avoid.
-
Wouldn't put that on my car if u paid me!! Guessing that's a ebay 39.99 special?
-
Haha wey aye didn't even pay that for it, on a budget mate it's for me project car, plenty of time down the line for performance Air filters,& me standard box is goosed. the majority of me funds are getting spent on turbo, injectors, manifolds etc
Nice V6 btw
-
never understood that thinking, if your on a budget its less reason to waste money.
-
I certainly wouldn't be fitting that until the weather brightens up, if I had one I would have ruined my engine 10 times over with the amount of large puddles I've had to drive few over the last few weeks

Air filters a air filter in my eyes Carl, sucks air into the intake, I could put an empty tea bag over the pipe and still get desired effect. Thing is I needed a new filter so I went for the cheap option.
Dom I dunno water the weathers like down your neck of the woods but the main roads round here aren't to bad, no fish swimming about or anything

Cut the pipe so the filter sits behind the headlight ..if it will fit there.. as said i would not risk putting the filter behind the bumper.. this is the UK rain is all we get

The filter is to big to fit behind the head light, he needs to get a smaller one.
Mine with a smaller angled filter.
