Title: Calling GTD DSG owners.....
Post by: Dan.B on 02 February 2014, 08:55
Hi all

I've got a GTD DSG, it's remapped with DPF delete. Now I am wondering if the DSG has been remapped to?

After reading about torque limits I'm pretty sure my car must be pushing past the standard limits but the car drives 100% with no pause in power. It also revs into the 5000 area (can't remember exact) before changing up.

What rpm does your DSG change up when on WOT?

DSG uses separate software so unless you've paid for a DSG map then it will be running the factory software

Carbon's GTD and plenty others run remaps without a DSG remap and none have suffered any issues

DSG maps give you a bit more control, and full manual mode. Depending on the map I think you may get faster up / down shifts
