To be honest he was an idiot.
The positioning of the car was set to pass the one in front. Only a live organ donor would try to pass in that situation.
-
I'd of been in the same positioning as the golf awaiting to overtake, however being an observant driver id of noticed a bike coming up my arse pretty quick and would of let him go first for he's quicker than me.
Granted an r32 is fast but B roads the bikes going to be faster!
I do also agree however that the bike should of anticipated this also so when two bad drivers meet an accident occurs!
-
Bloke also pulled out right when the bike was in his blind spot.
It's just an unfortunate combination of badness right there.
F*cked if I'd let some biker come past just like that. Weekend warriors can be a right pain in the backside.
-
Anyone with half a brain would have been able to see the golf was waiting to overtake the slower car.
The person on the bike should have paid more attention to the positioning of the golf and the fact that he was riding in his blind spot for some time.
-
I understand your comments and I'm not a biker, but you have to admit that before maneouvre comes mirror and signal!
-
as an EX biker - you always ride with the view that everyones out to kill you. he should have seen that happening a mile off.
sadly, some bikers have bigger egos than car drivers and he was always lining that up despite having the ability to let it go, then dust it once he had overtaken. :lipsrsealed:
Car driver should have seen him though
Fence well and truely sat on
-
Being an ex biker myself im on the fence with chuff, hope its a bloody strong fence!

(http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp359/chuffs69/haha2.gif) you calling me a fat coont
-
I would never suggest such a thing
-
Pffft, biker was a c0ck - he sat in the blind spot as well as going to pass someone who was clearly set up for a move.
Can't be doing with fence-sitting - I get splinters.
-
Driver and rider were both pretty crap tbh

Both in the wrong for different reasons but the bike still should have shown some initiative seeing as the golf was waiting to pass.

Good thing with metal fences

He should have seen the bike coming up from a way off tbh. I'm very aware of bikers I think, and tend to give them a very wide birth. If you hit one at speed, the person's likely to be fighting for his life. As an ex biker myself..............Ok ex scooterer..er  I always make a point of moving over for them to pass. Most give a thumb up in thanks, but its true, lots have bigger egos than Jap drivers and tend to think that everyone should go out of their way to let them past.
Again on this occasion, both were as bad as each other.
-
If there was no lid cam I bet the cyclist would get the sympathy vote from most...
However the lesson for the golf driver and all of us is always indicate, as I bet that's what swings the accident against him payout wise.
I avoid bikes in general, fast ones bring the div out in me and a lot of other people.
If I see a sporty bike I wait till he has gone past before doing anything, that and my Mk3 cant overtake many vehicles
-
Where was the riders mirror and lifesaver look before his signal and manoeuvre?
Both at fault IMO but the rider should have been able to read that situation a mile off...
-
That bike had not guts it was full throttle and it sounded dead!
TBF biker should have known NOT to try it on such a piddly bike
