Title: Why do some Golfs have GTI with the I in red?
Post by: ksab on 28 January 2014, 23:37
I have been looking at buying a GTI and am curious as some golfs have the I in Red, and some in silver. Also noticed some of them have the GTI badge on the front grille and some don't. Is this just a simple diy mod or a different model altogether?

I think the newer models had a red I to show it was the turbo golf rather than a standard gti model and the older golfs had the standard gti badge if it was turbo or not
