Post by: maxey on 25 January 2014, 19:07
I have bought a new gti yesterday its a T reg so its got the agu engine, its got a major problem and im not sure what it is was wondering if anyone could help me out, basically as soon as I accelerate the car shakes through the hole car mostly through the steering wheel, matey I bought it off said its had new drive shafts and new engine mounts. when u let off the accelerator it seems fine as soon as back on its so bad hardly driveable. The faster you go the worse it is at 35mph its ridiculous.

Or a lying vendor....

Take it to Barney's Tyres on Forest Road and get Karl to check the balance on the wheels - he'll soon tell you if the wheels are buckled.

If it ain't buckled wheels it'll be CV joints.

I agree with the above. Does it sound and pull ok?

I don't wish a bumhole who kicks you when you are down, but did you not drive the car before buying it?
