First images of the BCS full Turbo back (Non Powervalve) Sport system installed.
System features signature BCS front / centre silencer configuration and 100mm rolled edge 35 degree trims which mirror the rake on the rear valence, trims are further enhanced by a 15 degree angle up sweep in the horizontal plane. The 100 cell cat includes lambda extention, which has so far (Initial tests) not illuminated the CEL.
Superb sound out of the box

Looks amazing Nige, cant wait till tomorrow.
Get a few vids up and im sure people will be queuing up to buy a system!
-
Nice! A video would be great, do you have prices yet?
-
Heres a video we shot of the in car sound...

I swore I would mod my car other than the DTUK box but this is seriously tempting.
Excellent work
-
Link sent to my bro as I'm sure he'll get one of these.
Nige - can you do chrome tips?
-
The trims are mirror pollished, we could have them chrome plated if required
Cheers

Have you got any Dyno run results for before and after with this exhaust?

Not yet mate, I'll be going to Shark on Saturday to get a run done, made 243 before but with dyno lottery I'm gonna say a round 240. Should be interesting to see how close this is to milltek, it certainly feels faster than before but how fast we will have to wait and see.
It's not just about peak figures though, thanks to the Powervalve they've installed I haven't lost any of my low down torque that I thought I was going to with putting such a wider pipe on.
And then we're going to put the tuning box on...

Yeah just interesting to hear if you can get some noticable extra BHP. I love the idea of the powervalve, don't want to sound like a boy racer all of the time but think the artificial sound inside the cab could do with some real world sound to go along side it for the pedestrians to enjoy!
-
My thoughts exactly mate, my days bombing round in a 1.2 with a scaffold tube as an exhaust are long behind.
And yeah I love the sound box, they really have made it sound nice but at least now I have noise coming from the back and not just the front lol

Thanks Nige, my bro has contacted you via your website (dpt@.........).

Well Nige I'm currently at Shark and I'm told that we are more restrictive than the milltek but we are producing a smoother map. Will post up dyno when I get it scanned it at work, haven't seen it myself yet
-
Thrilled with the smoother map Gra looking forward to seeing the map...

Impressive stuff as always.
Shame some bespoke tailpipe trims aren't available to us owners that for various reasons can't/won't change the full exhaust but would buy some top quality vehicle specific trims…

Sorry took so long, been hungover since Saturday.

As you can see, less top end gain, but larger gain across the range, im sure Nige can explain how this is much better than I.
And for those that are interested, Stg2 map with BCS...

So we're talking a 13 BHP increase without a remap, not bad. Chuck in a carbon intake (when they release one) and you might not even need to get a remap to keep the casual boy racers among us happy

You mention when they release a CF intake......I spotted this the other week....looks exactly like the intake I had on our Scirocco...

unless my car was having a good day in Jan and a bad day in Feb, difference in BHP shouldnt be looked at too closely

Possible bodge job with a Carbonio? its possible to do yourself now, but I'll be waiting to see if they create a ram effect when ITG and the rest actually release a mk7 spec box

Yeah with that nice pipe it would be easy to attach a generic cone filter on there...
-
Thrilled to bits with the dyno results especially the huge torque gains
BCS max power 256.3 (Milltek 252.6) BCS Max torque 405nm (Milltek 390nm)
Overall bhp up to 256.3 and torque up to 405nm
I really like the mid range 3500 rpm torque gain of 50nm thats epic - glad to see the Powervalve is doing its job perfectly...
Our stock 76mm sport system would equate to the Milltek system as it utilises conventional technology, which points the way forward to our boost actuated variable valve technology for performance turbo cars.
Cheers

What's the price for the BCS exhaust?

Well I like the look of those curves (with just the exhaust) - I bet the mid-range just feels even more torque rich and I really like the look of the top end (where the standard car starts to tail off dramatically after 5,250rpm) ....
Good effort BCS!
